APPLICATION
AP fans feature the wide capabilities and the high performance of axial and centrifugal fans and are specifically designed for supply and exhaust ventilation of premises requiring high pressure, powerful air flow and low noise level. These fans are compatible with round air ducts from 100 to 315 mm. Exhaust ventilation systems based on Dalap AP fans are the best solution for ventilation of bathrooms and kitchens and other humid premises as well as for ventilation of flats, cottages, shops, cafes, etc.
DESIGN
The casing is made of high-quality durable plastic. The removable impeller and motor block with its terminal box are fixed to the casing assembled with spigots by means of special clamps with latches. This makes fan maintenance both fast and easy. Fan maintenance does not require total dismantling. Simply pull out the central block from the casing and perform required servicing.
MOTOR
The Dalap AP series are equipped with a single phase motor and are available in single or two speed modifications. AP STARK models are available with a more powerful motor. The motors have thermal overheating protection to prevent motor overload. Ball bearings extend the motor service life up to 40 000 hours for non-stop operation. The motor has IP X4 ingress protection rating.
MOUNTING
The fans are suitable for mounting at any angle and point in the system. Several fans may be installed inside one system:
parallel - mounting to increase air flow
in series mounting - to increase operating pressure
The fan case is equipped with a flat mounting plate to attach the fan to the wall. The mounting box may be installed in any position to facilitate mounting and wiring.
POWERFUL ENOUGH TO VENT AIR TROUGH FILTERS
The duct fan is used to transport clean air without any mechanical contaminants or grease, which could damage the impeller or the fan itself. If the device needs to be used, for example, in the kitchen or any place where greasy air must be removed, it is a good idea to install a grease filter in front of it. The same applies in the case of various workshops, warehouses, garages or wherever the air contains various impurities. Here, a filter according to the given filter class should be installed in front of the fan.
